Learned that, the problem is in some path variable of the generated Makefile, so workaround for me was to remove the space character (" ") from the path of my lightspark directory by renaming a folder "Pdf Research" to "Research".
May provide the patch for fixing the Makefile if got time, but you can always use the workaround for quick dirty fix.
Procedure followed
1) make clean && rm -rf CMakeCache.txt
2) afterwards, renamed directory to remove the space
3) build
