Comment 3 for bug 638000

Hi

Thanks for the quick response. As far as I am aware the settings for windows and linux are the same. How do I add date restrictions?

This is a query for all calendar items, but without date restriction.
That means it pulls out all calendar items ever. This leads to high
load on the XML parser of mozilla.

Do you have some settings that differ between windows and linux?

Status in Exchange Data Provider for Lightning: New

Bug description:
On startup Thunderbird is very very slow; it takes around 20 minutes to load the calendar. The problem is restricted to my Redhat Linux system as I have no such problems with Microsoft Windows on my laptop, connected to the same network. After it has loaded all seems to be OK.
