no One, can't you just adjust the width of the tags panel by dragging the divider between the tags panel and the middle panel? Although it is not obvious in newer Gtk themes, there is an adjustable divider between the two.

The other problems seem to relate to Unity and how it handles Gtk+ applications with header bars. e.g. what is the case with Gedit or similar Gnome applicaions; are they all OK?
