The murmur hash function may not work correctly on ARM processors and doesn't produce the same results and big and little endian machines. I've attached a patch which allows it to be disabled by passing --disable-murmur_hash to configure.

The patch applies to http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~libmemcached-developers/libmemcached/trunk/ and 0.44. If you already have configure make sure you autoreconf after applying the patch.
