Launchpad: "chromium-daily-ppa" not accepted as package

Bug Description

This is a bug report for launchpad itself:

On https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium/+filebug I select Choose, and then select "chromium-daily-ppa" as package. After filling out, and clicking on Submit Bug Report, launchpad says:

"chromium-daily-ppa" does not exist in Ubuntu.

So: first offering the package as a package to report a bug on, and then saying the package is not accepted?

Expected: launchpad should accept the package it offered itself.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/899829/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Hi. I am a little confused as to exactly what you are doing. The first page you list (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium/+filebug) already has the package name as part of the URL, so at which point are you entering "chromium-daily-ppa"?

Thanks.

This is how to reproduce ti:

Go to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium/+filebug
In summary, type 'blabla', and click Next
Click on Choose (to choose a package), and type "chromium-daily" (as that is more specific and correct than "chromium"). Launchpad will find "chromium-daily-ppa" in green. Select that.
Then fill out Further Information, so "bla bla bla". Then click Submit Bug Report.
Launchpad wil now say "There is 1 error." and '"chromium-daily-ppa" does not exist in Ubuntu. Please choose a different package. If you're unsure, please select "I don't know"'

So: Launchpad first knows and offers "chromium-daily-ppa" as a package you can report a bug on, but after selecting that package Launchpad suddenly doesn't know it anymore.
This is what I would expect:
Offer the package in the search, AND accept it for bug reports
(or: do not offer/find the package in the search, and thus do not accept bug reports for this package)

OK, indeed looks like a dupe of https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/42298
