I find these quite annoying and I'm not sure how they are useful. Perhaps they are to someone, but I think it would be good to add a header, perhaps 'X-launchpad-bug-branch-linked' so that these can be more easily filtered. Right now I am attempting something silly like:
This morning I woke up to 100+ emails like the following:
"From: Launchpad Bug Tracker <email address hidden>
Reply-to: Bug 829657 <email address hidden>
...
Subject: [Bug 829657] Re: linux-mvl-dove: 2.6.32-418.35 -proposed tracker
...
