It basically says that the minimum acceptable text size for web is 10 points. And that is the absolute minimum. Considering launchpad is used heavily for reading text, I think 11-12 is probably the best fit.

I can't find the bug, so I'm going to go ahead and file that one too. The contrast of the text is as important as it's size.
