Comment 1 for bug 777766

The JS crashes when it fails to find an element with an ID containing the package name. The package name, and therefore also the relevant ID, contains a '+', which is a special character in CSS selectors, and possibly not even a valid ID character (http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/types.html#type-id).
