Comment 3 for bug 772000

After discussion I'm reopening; nearly all other list hosts handle this in some way - e.g. config knobs, spam filters in front of the system, crossassassin on lists.debian.org etc. Its a genuine defect that we cannot let folk gently ease into discussions held on launchpad.net lists.
