This should now be fixed. We implemented a change to redirect *edge.launchpad.net URLs to *launchpad.net (with the exception of api.edge.launchpad.net) and it seems this had unintended consequences. We've reverted the change, so sanity should now be restored. We'll still want to put changes in place to remove *edge.launchpad.net, but we'll be sure to do it in a way that avoids this (and other) errors next time. Apologies for the errors here.
