At first the context:
- I'm a new launchpad user
- I want to provide vietnamese translation for gfxboot-theme-ubuntu
- I search for "gfxboot-theme-ubuntu" or "gfxboot" in rosetta => nothing
- I search for "gfxboot-theme-ubuntu" or "gfxboot" in launchpad => nothing
- I write to the package maintainer and he sends me the exact link I need
- I try to understand why the search was unsuccessful and I find the answer in https://help.launchpad.net/RosettaNewImportPolicy

I agree that the search box label is very clear: this is for *product* search.

But, on the other side, think about some translator that just want to help translating some software. (s)he should not need to know if this software is registred as a product or from a distribution, IMHO, at least to find it at first. Off course, (s)he will need to know how its translations are managed, but only after having found it, still IMHO.

So, I fill this bug to ask for this search box to allow search on a software name, no matter its classification.
