Comment 2 for bug 491165

This bug does not concern packaging information — the problem occurs when only the orig tarball has been uploaded. A user cannot install an orig tarball on it's own, and your reply seems to make no sense.

Please read the report again, it concerns an incorrect upload of the UPSTREAM archive, nothing to do with deb packaging information.

The resolution to this is actually in the "question"[1] I asked about the same. I appended "+actual" to the orig tarball and hacked around it in the packaging. As I said there: I really think you should change the wording of the "Request Deletion" link, since it seems to have nothing to do with deletion, just "hiding" (or possibly, "deletion from index" or somesuch), and mention that the file is not, in fact, deleted.
