Now that answer contacts can assign questions, this bug can be made irreverent by procedures. Of course this is an assumption that someone can help (which is the same assumption as this bug).

Get a copy of rocketfuel (http://dev.launchpad.net/Getting)
Update lp.answers.scripts.questionexpiration and its tests.
Sign the Launchpad contributor's agreement.
