At the moment the person bugs page (eg https://bugs.launchpad.net/~mbp) defaults to sorting by importance. It seems like that would be good, but in fact it works very poorly, because people are commonly involved with bugs (as reporter or subscriber) where they cannot change the importance and possibly cannot do anything about the bug. Furthermore, Unknown importance sorts to the top.
The net result is that my bugs default page shows above the fold almost entirely bugs that are upstream and being ignored by upstream, and that are relatively unimportant to me. The bugs I care strongly about or can work on are much further down.
I have "most recently changed" bookmarked to go to this page and I find that's much more likely to put interesting bugs at the top. It implicitly includes bugs that I just filed. Could we change the default to be that? |

Doing this would mostly fix bug 391765. |
