default sort order on person's bugs page is useless

Bug Description

At the moment the person bugs page (eg https://bugs.launchpad.net/~mbp) defaults to sorting by importance. It seems like that would be good, but in fact it works very poorly, because people are commonly involved with bugs (as reporter or subscriber) where they cannot change the importance and possibly cannot do anything about the bug. Furthermore, Unknown importance sorts to the top.

The net result is that my bugs default page shows above the fold almost entirely bugs that are upstream and being ignored by upstream, and that are relatively unimportant to me. The bugs I care strongly about or can work on are much further down.

I have "most recently changed" bookmarked to go to this page and I find that's much more likely to put interesting bugs at the top. It implicitly includes bugs that I just filed. Could we change the default to be that?

Doing this would mostly fix bug 391765.

Hm, interesting idea. The rationale for sorting by importance was that it would be more useful for actual developers -- the top reports would be the ones they'd need to work on next. But as you say, it's not so relevant for reporters or subscribers.

So perhaps the +assignedbugs list should be sorted by importance by default, while all the other person bugs lists are sorted most-recently-changed first as you suggest.

Despite the rumours, I am an actual developer. :-) And I don't find it
very useful.

More seriously, most people wear multiple hats as reporters,
developers, and bystanders, especially in Launchpad which pulls
together data from many projects such that nobody will be just a
developer on all of them.

That makes sense.

One think I would like to stress: Critical should be more important than Unknown...

Sorting by Importance should list "Critical" bugs first... not the one with "Unknow" importance
