Diff file in merge proposal is not updated when new revisions are pushed

Bug Description
If a merge proposal is made, a diff is generated to display on the proposal page and stored by the launchpad librarian.
Usually other devs will take a look at the diff and then write a comment on the merge proposal. Then the author of the branch goes and addresses the comments with another commit. When they push to their branch on launchpad, the "unmerged revisions" section on the merge proposal page shows another revision is unmerged. However at this time, the diff on launchpad librarian is not update.
Therefore the merge proposal page may show there are 5 unmerged revisions, but the diff in the section below will only display the changes for the first, say, 4 revisions (or however many were unmerged at the time the merge proposal was created).
