Wish: context help for various launchpad pages and fields

I often find myself staring at a setting or input field in launchpad wondering "what does this mean", and it would be of great help if there were contextual help links instead of just the link to the top-level help page.

Contextual help would be more helpful, but it's unrealistic for help to be added to the hundreds of form controls in Launchpad all at once. So it would be more useful to report individual bugs of the form "X field in Y form isn't obvious enough". Each of them might be fixed by adding specific help, or by changing the layout of the form, or by removing the field, or by removing the entire form.

Well ... hmm. That could be a lot of bugs. Going through the existing
documentation would be good for a start -- fortunately the existing
documentation is (at least for the most part) arranged in some order.

I don't suppose there's a facility for mass-adding bugs?

Unfortunately not. :-) I suggest thinking of the three most confusing fields you've encountered in Launchpad, and reporting a bug about each of them. Then if you're still energized, report bugs about three more! We already have bug reports about some confusing fields, for example bug 4449, bug 29495, bug 131036, and bug 262698.
