Colin, I don't think that 16k is enough to be an issue for your browser. I still prefer a reasonable backtrace to a comment because it's easier to read the bug than to navigates between pages to have a view of the backtrace and a description of the issue, not to mention than if you work with mails it forces you to open your browser on the attachment
