"Participation essential" is "Required" when subscribing

Bug Description
1. From any blueprint, choose "Subscribe yourself".
On the "Subscribe to blueprint" page, the "Participation essential" checkbox says "(Required)". This isn't true.

What does this even mean?
"Check this box if you want to be included in all discussions about this feature when you are attending sprints or meetings with this feature on the agenda."
Who is requiring participation in what? Are you requiring essential participation of yourself by checking the box? Needs rewording.
