There's constant spam messages sent to Launchpad mailing lists

We are receiving a constant flow of spam messages to our team Launchpad mailing list. In the beginning those were rare, but today is starting to get pretty annoying.

Please reject by default any message sent to Launchpad teams where the user isn't registered, and consider sending a bounce email to them so no good email is silently discarded.

I'm unsure about that, because this is a special situation. All the
messages are coming from registered Launchpad accounts.

It looks like they have been stolen, and that's why the mailing lists
are not automatically rejecting them.

Perhaps the solution is to introduce a procedure to close those stolen
accounts, if that's the case.

Maybe I misunderstood the nature of the problem. An example of such a message (the full source) might be helpful.

Searching launchpad.net/people for the first part of the e-mail address reveals that this person has had a Launchpad account since 2006.
