I have checked in changes where I make sure we never use the "Crypted" backend (the one that asks for password, it turns out), and when needed we use the UncryptedFileKeyring as last resort instead. There were also some changes to clear the picasa/gmail caches when the password settings change, but since the source caching is a mess for these plugins right now, manual rescan is needed (or changes are picked up at next automatic rescan, only once per hour); this is suboptimal.
