Bug Description

Python 2.6.4
pygtk 2.16.0
No keybinder module installed.
Ubuntu 9.10

When I bring up the Kupfer window, type "shut" so the window displays "Shut Down..." on the left and "Do" on the right, and press Enter to perform the action, instead of shutting down or presenting the Shut Down dialog, the dialog "Log Out of the Session" is displayed (a screenshot of this is attached)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug.

Do you use a standard Gnome desktop in Ubuntu?

This is certainly a bug in Kupfer's "Common" plugin that currently handles session management (and should be rewritten).

Do any of these two commands give the desired dialog?

gnome-panel-logout --shutdown
gnome-session-save --shutdown-dialog

The gnome-panel-logout command is not present, but
gnome-session-save --shutdown-dialog
shows the right dialog

Fixed in git. Thank you again for reporting this! As you can see[1], the fix is trivial, you can patch this yourself if you can't wait for next release.
