This is not a KungFu bug, but instead is GStreamer or perhaps a libdvdread bug; however, this is still an important one to me because it is relevant to my work on dvdsrc.

Recently there has been a bug filed in GStreamer about this same dvdreadsrc assertion failure:

In the bug above, it was on a self-authored DVD created using Sonic MyDVD Deluxe. What DVD were you trying to rip?

Also, could you please past in KungFu log file from .config/kungfu/log.txt
This will give me some idea of what KungFu was trying to do just before the assertion failure.
