Hi Scarlett, the packages failed to build because the "upstream_enforce_accounts-glib_version.patch" patch won't work without this other commit (which upstream added later): http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaccounts-integration.git&a=commitdiff&h=abb50d9263941770212cab8f57b8c2a23e58d351

My advice, however, is to drop the "upstream_enforce_accounts-glib_version.patch" altogether, and instead bump the libaccounts-glb-dev version in the debian/control file to ">= 1.21". This has the same effect, but is less risky.
