I found that the file :
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-nvidia.conf
is not removed by prime when switching to Nvidia, so the module cannot be loaded (as far I understand the stuff). When I remove it and load with Nvidia mode, the Nvidia module is loaded, not the Nouveau module.
The grub option "nouveau.run-pm=0" (or something like that) is either not removed when purging Nvidia-390 stack. Removing it manually allows to use Nouveau with normal (low) power usage.
I did not succeed to get a Nvidia-390 with Intel mode AND dGPU powered off.
