Comment 1 for bug 1840628

This would be really nice. Sparkle is pretty much the standard for this on macOS [1], and there is a Windows version [2], but I don't know how it'd play with KiCad being cross-platform and based on wxWidgets. They are mentioned on the wxWidgets wiki [3], so thats hopeful.
