Bug Description

If you add symbols to the schematics (doesn't matter if you add new ones or copy existing ones) and them wire them, drag tool ( "G" shortcut - when the wires remain connected to the symbol)will not work until the schematic is saved. Instead only the symbol is moved like in the Move tool.

Not seeing this on linux. 1480 is a ways back though. Good chance that it was fixed in the interim.

I cannot duplicate this on windows 10 no matter how hard I try. I'm guessing there is a corner case where the net connections are not updated and the drag command thinks there is nothing connected to the resistor as shown in Art's screen recording. @Art, any chance you could post your schematic so we can attempt to duplicate this?

@Wayne

It happens for me with a new schematics as well. See the video attached with two resistors. One thing that I noticed is when I place the first resistor in the schematic, it is placed with circles on each pin showing the wire attachment points. When I copy that resistor and paste it again those circles are missing. Not sure what that's all about, but it seems to be related
