Right, that D[15..0] connected to DL0 .. DL15 is a mistake, also in the original design. It went unnoticed for years because it always worked.

OK, so deleting this whole section still results in totally wrong connections:

Reconnect R72 pin 1 from D15 to D7.
Reconnect R76 pin 2 from DL3 to D8.
Reconnect R80 pin 2 from DL7 to D12.
Reconnect R75 pin 2 from DL2 to D15.
Reconnect R74 pin 2 from DL1 to D10.
Reconnect R71 pin 1 from D14 to D6.
Reconnect R70 pin 1 from D13 to D5.
......

And the ERC errors only complain about unconnected stuff, which should not matter at all in this case.
