@Jeff- Can I get your input here? It appears (though I am not 100%) that the windows are getting re-parented on Mac. When we close Eeschema before the thread completes, it has a false pointer to the main frame and crashes.

I don't fully understand how the re-parenting works and don't have a compiling workstation running Mac to test these theories. If you'd be up for having a swing at this, I'd greatly appreciate it!
