Comment 8 for bug 1743332

Lorenzo, I have pushed a fix for the symbol rename crash. I have not marked the bug report as 'fixed' as the patch does not fix the original issue. I revert the report status to 'incomplete' as we do not have much details about the original problem (crash on component duplicate).
