Ok, David's statement "Forcing hierarchy and hierarchical pins and connections.." is simply incorrect. So if you agree with that, you are not fully familiar with KiCad.

I can see a use case for multiple pages of a sheet, however, many of the statements such as "KiCad forces you to use hierarchical sheets" are simply wrong. The fact is you can create multiple sheet, flat schematics with KiCad already, no changes are required.
