I have the same problem using Fedora 21 x86_64.

I would like to test with wxWidgets 2.8 but cmake complains: Could NOT find wxWidgets: Found unsuitable version "2.8.12", but required is at least "3.0.0".

How can I change it, so I can compile with wx-2.8?
