Comment 23 for bug 2003339

This is probably another bug. I looked around but can't anything. Probable bad keywords. (no keyboard input)

This time my desktop hanged. (Not sure if I had mouse pointer). Certainly not keyboard. Windows decorations were there.

I switch to console and back to X. Now I have mouse pointer but no click. No keyboard.

Now I can't Ctrl-Alt-F2. I ssh and do sudo chvt 2

I restart kwin from console (DISPLAY=:0 kwin --replace)

Now I have mouse pointer + click but still no keyboard.

I restarted plasmashell. Kate crashed as per: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=461318

Still no keyboard input.

*** Do you happen to know what process I need to restart to gain keyboard again?. I had to reboot. and I lost a lot of state.

In the meantime as I promised I straced both kwin and plasmashell. Everything looks ok. They are waiting for input:

This bug is more severe and more difficult / rare to trigger. If somebody has a pointer for this bug I will post there. Otherwise I will open a new bug later today.
