Bug Description
Version:1.4.5 (NNC 80102)
Setting General Preference (Speaker / Mic) volume does not persist.
Example:
Setting Speaker volume=Full and Microphone volume=10%, is randomly changed after exiting preferences.
Once volume setting is done and after existing Preference, on re-entering Preferences Speaker (often) have Volume=10% and Mic=44%. It seems that sound is recorded at this new random selection. Often muffled or muted.
I tried different scenarios - setting only Speaker; only Mic; etc. It seems that speaker volume setting (most of the time) inherits Mic setting, this is not the case all the time though. Sometime speaker setting goes to 44% or fully mutes, etc.
This feature worked very well for quite some time. I made lot’s of recordings using Speaker setting=Full, Mic=8% in order to minimize pick-up background noise via mic. All of a sudden this became issue.
I have exactly the same problem! /bugs.launchpad .net/kazam/ +bug/1483774
