This will likely end up being related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/juju/+bug/1948971 where it'd indeed be good to be able to delete an attached resource, either globally or for a specific architecture.

The current workaround of attaching an empty resource isn't really intuitive and requires special handling in charms.
