It appears this is Juju 2.0 with the local (LXD) provider. As @suchvenu points out, the controller is a node on the host machine and transferring large data between containers on the same system should not take very long.

Is there a workaround that the IBM team could copy the images to a specific location without using the `juju attach` command? Can someone on the juju-core team please advise on this or another workaround?
