Comment 2 for bug 581953

In general it may be a good idea to visually seperate the EQ into three zones:

lowrange: 25-168?
midrange: 168-1566?
highrange: 1566-20000?

The idea was taken from Jamin:

Especially for beginning users the seperation into three zones makes things a lot easier as the Hz numbers may not mean very much to them...

Maybe it's a good codebase to port the EQ from as well?
