A point of clarification, the ironic nodes table is not the same as the inspector nodes table.
I think this is an incorrect configuration as opposed to a bug. I.e. pointing inspector at ironic's nodes DB. I also just can't see how this is happening.
Given the age, I'm going to close this item out as invalid.
