The setting,
Go to Advanced menu> TPM configuration > TCG2 Configuration > enable PCR Bank  PCR Bank: SM3_256 [x ]

is for PCR Bank supported Hash Algorithm.

Here, what Ethan mentioned is for remove the SM3_256 supported for the platform, not only the PCR bank SM3_256 supported.
