Bug Description
Inkscape does not auto-append filetype on windows.
To reproduce:
1: Start inkscape
2:Click on File, then save as.
Now the following dialog comes up:
Filename: drawing
Save as type: Inkscape SVG (*.svg)
3: click on save. Now the file "drawing" is saved. When this file is then double-clicked in the windows explorer, windows does not know what program can be used to open this file.
Please alter the dialog to append ".svg" to the filename, provided the file does not have an extention yet. Change the extention if a user changes the type to for example .eps
Also, the user has to be able to choose another extention if they wish.
Versions:
Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819
Windows XP pro SP3
My appologies for my english, it's not my native language.
Best regards,
Cedric
