yes, my own experience on Windows, build 11098, is also very unpredictable. For example, using gdb I was able to load a very simple svg file using the same gdb sequence given above. However, when I then opened the Fill and Stroke dialog, I got a crash, which normally would not have happened, if I were outside of gdb.
