Save as dialog not appearing - 0.48.2 - Win 7

When clicking on either the save as or save a copy options, nothing happens. Using the keyboard shortcuts does not work either. This appears to have been a problem in past builds and with XP users, although all suggested it disappeared on upgrade or by the removal of a system theme. I am running Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 - 64 Bit with the default theme and Inkscape 0.48.2, build r9819.

This is not a duplicate of bug #805095. That bug is specifically for Win32 and says it is not being reproduced in Windows 7. This bug is occuring in Windows 7 regardless of the location of the initial file location.

Bug #805095 affects _all_ Windows versions and is a regression in the Windows port of Inkscape 0.48.2.

The theme-related issue (bug #285267) you refer to which occurred in older releases had been fixed in time for the initial release of Inkscape 0.48.

I'm using Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819 on Win 7 x64 and I still have this problem. I'm not sure how to reproduce it, but it seems the issue hasn't been fixed.

The issue will be fixed in the upcoming bug-fix release 0.48.3.1

As soon as we have packages for Windows and Mac OS X available for download, the release will be announced on inkscape.org.
