Objects disappear when you move them to a hidden layer

Bug Description

I reverted back to 0.48.1 that is why I can not create a sequence to reproduce it. The main reason to get back to 0.48.1 was that while moving object from visible layer to invisible through a chain of invisible layers object just disappeared (I mean when you switch on all layers object just is not there).
