Comment 7 for bug 851836

Well, maybe I'm just lucky but I've never run into this problem on LibreOffice. Two things to consider:
1) App's uptime doesn't matter. It's true that you can enter text for a while until the app freezes. But if you save just before the freeze (before trying to edit) then edit, get freeze, kill app, start it again and load that file you'll get the same freeze right after the first edit. It looks like the app accumulate text changes and after reaching some point it hangs. Saving the document preserves that accumulated value whatever it is.
2) The ~/.uim config matters. Without it uim-xim doesn't affect Inkscape at least.
