Bug Description

The attached SVG is not rendered properly when exported via "Export Bitmap": At the bottom of the logo a part is cut away. The degree of the error varies with the resolution used to export. I'll attach two sample exports to demonstrate this in a minute.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48+devel r10195 on OS X 10.5.8 (i386).

The export works as expected after inserting an additional node into the segment that was incompletely exported (as described in comment #5 of bug #189214).

Linking as duplicate to Bug #189214 “curve is exported badly (but displayed correctly)”

Please add a comment here and revert the duplicate status if you don't agree and think these are different issues.

Changed in inkscape:
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Confirmed

You select the path with the node tool, select the segment which is partially missing in the exported bitmap, and insert a new node (e.g. by doublick-clicking the path outline, or by using the button on the controls bar of the node tool).

Attaching the file which exported fine to bitmap after inserting an additional.
