Comment 19 for bug 722017

I suggest we remove the Edit button (and retire the Gradient Editor) in favor of "on canvas" editing.

Since the Gradient tool toolbar now has the same functionality as the Gradient Editor, the only reason (suggested by ~suv i think) for keeping the Gradient Editor was editing of gradients/swatches not used "on canvas" but still in the document.
To me it doesnt seem like a big enough issue to justify needing to have 2 different Gradient Editing methods.
