I like it so far. However, if the Edit button is going to open the Gradient Editor dialog, the Gradient Editor dialog needs to be redone. :-/ I see a couple viable options, make the Edit button either A) temporarily show editing specific widgets in the F&S dialog which would go away when done editing, or B) launch a reworked GE dialog (new dialog would require a new widget that we don't have in Inkscape, which is a traditional gradient editing widget you see in other software).
