That's kinda odd. It should happen to *both* vectors and bitmaps. In fact it shouldn't be related to the type of object but rather its position and size (as ~suv pointed out in comment #7).

Please macosxp, provide a sample file. Meanwhile I'm setting this as "Incomplete". Feel free to revert the status after you've provided the information.
