Bug Description
0.47 on Windows Vista, and also appears to be happening in 0.48pre1.
To reproduce, start drawing a shape using the straight lines with the pen tool. Click once to begin, make a second point, then hit the delete key to delete the last created point, then continue. When the path is complete, the deleted node still appears causing the shape to be misformed.
One can simply delete the node and the shape will be fine, but it's still an unnecessary added step and an annoyance.

reproduced with Inkscape 0.47 and r9607 (trunk) on OS X 10.5.8
The error only occurs when the second node is deleted: once the path is finished, the deleted node is restored and switches place with the originally first node.
