Pen tool: backspace after 2nd knot does not function correctly

trunk rev. 13444

1. start Inkscape
2. pen tool (Shift+F6 or B)
3. click on-canvas, starts path
4. click a 2nd point, straight line to that point added
5. hit backspace, 2nd point is removed from path
6. doubleclick on-canvas somewhere else.

Expected: straight line path created.
Result: open triangle path created, the backspaced 2nd point is not completely forgotten

Experimental rev. 13413 does not exhibit the bug.

Tracked down the differences between trunk and experimental, and found that Jabier fixed this bug perhaps without knowing :-)
